Private Grower Champagne Tours
When I am not hosting guests, I work directly in the vineyards, participating in essential tasks like winter pruning. This hands-on connection to the vines gives me a practical, intimate understanding of the Champagne-making process. It is not just knowledge. It is a way of life. Sometimes, if the season and timing allow, you may have the chance to try it yourself: to hold the pruning shears, to feel the vine beneath your hands and to understand in the most direct way possible where great Champagne truly begins.
Together we will leave the commercial crowds behind and visit independent grower-producer estates (Récoltant-Manipulant) where I maintain personal relationships with the winemaking families. These are small, passionate estates where terroir-driven, grower-craft Champagnes are born – wines that rarely travel far from where they were made. Depending on the season and availability, we may discover rare treasures: mono-parcellaire cuvées, unique 100% Meunier or 100% Pinot Blanc monocépages – expressions of a single plot, a single vision, a single family’s story.
My tours are fully private. I drive you personally, handling every detail, so you can simply be present and enjoy. I can meet you at the Reims railway station or your hotel and from there the journey is entirely yours.
Tours are conducted in English, French, Italian or Russian and can be tailored as a half-day discovery, a full-day journey or a multi-day immersion into the true soul of Champagne.

Many of our Customers select our Private Tours, as they are just that. It will just be your party, whether that is two of you or eight. We do not join other people onto these tours.

This tour provides you with an opportunity to experience the wonderful sight of the Champagne vineyards and villages of the Montagne de Reims.
